Government in the modern era is and should be responsible for the guidance and development of the entire state.
That requires a constant flow of education and continued development of its citizens.
That means that education always needs to be accessible to all citizens equally, no special accord should be available for the wealthy.
Deregulation of Tertiary Institutions will never occur under a Unitary Republic. Pricing and availability of spots at top institutions will always need to be available to all.
The United States has a tertiary education and funding model that is grossly unequal, leading to tremendous student debts and a massive amount of favouritism toward the wealthy.
This is not a system condoned by a Unitary Republic.
Better Education on Careers, Courses and Job Markets will be a priority too.
Many students are pulled into institutions and courses before they’re even aware of the pathways available after they finish, and a number of institutions actively mislead or misdirect in order to get students to apply regardless.
Many students end up with degrees that are unusable in the job market, some despite that fact but many because they were unaware of employment realities.
