The Unitary Republic sees Immigration very close to its core principles.
But this is particularily true in the case of those seeking Asylum.
It is an ideological entity based on the respect for all human beings wherever they come from.
Helping all of those that need a helping hand and proving that it is worthy of what it could be in the future.
But it also knows that simple open immigration can increase other issues once those immigrants come into its borders.
These issues are to do with unemployment, which results from people without applicable job skills or language skills being unable to find work and losing hope of a new start in a new nation state.
Becoming what unemployment services term as ‘long term unemployed’.
Instead the Unitary Republic would create a system by which people can come into it through standard immigration channels, but instead of being detained and investigated, the system would be much more open and welcoming.
This system would involve the education of these potential immigrants in the English language – probably the most vital requirement as they likely have some existing skills, as well as some basic job skills (if required) in markets that are in need of new employees.
This would allow for something that while potentially expensive, would ultimately be morally justified, unlike so many policies that currently exist.
It would also be much cheaper in the long term than permanently jailing those refugees in detainment facilities offshore or through the burden on unemployment schemes.
